Aaron started taking upper-level courses in Criminal Law at Broward College as an 11th grade student at South Broward High School (SBHS). At SBHS, he excelled academically while being actively involved in many groups, clubs and honor societies all of which benefited from his restless drive for learning and social justice engagement.
The Black Student Union (which he himself founded “to educate on the trauma of marginalized, black communities, promote black excellence, and inspire the elevation of black culture)”, Model United Nations, National Spanish Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, these are but a few of the extracurricular areas at SBHS where he immersed himself passionately and honed his leadership skills.
Outside of school, he volunteered with non-profit health and advocacy groups such as the Health Information Project, Harvest Drive, and the NAACP.
Aaron graduated from SBHS with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude, in June 2021, and is currently a rising sophomore at Vanderbilt University pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a Double Major in Human Organizational Development and Forensic Anthropology.
Highly motivated and driven to excel in everything he participates in, he proudly credits Broward College as part of his journey: “I’m a former Broward College Dual Enrollment Student and I want to thank you guys for getting me to where I am now. Vanderbilt wasn’t achievable without you all.”
