Alumna Allison Fry is a dedicated lawyer with a passion for justice and advocacy.
After graduating from College Academy in 2017, Allison majored in Psychology at the University of Florida with plans to attend medical school. However, after applying to and completing a medical Master's program, she realized medicine was not the right fit. Allison then made the bold decision to pursue law school, and she has not looked back since!
Allison studied at the Florida International University - College of Law from 2022-2025. During her time there she worked for a consulting firm, helping to teach underrepresented prospective law students their first-year courses to prepare them for law school. She also served as a research assistant for the Balanced Justice Project, working on cases fighting against death penalty sentences.
Allison was also a member of FIU Law’s Moot Court team and participated in a competition in October in North Carolina. Over the winter of 2024, she competed as part of FIU Law’s Trial Team.
Allison works as a Certified Legal Intern with the Law Office of the Public Defender, 17th Judicial Circuit, representing juvenile defendants under the supervision of an attorney. She earned her Juris Doctor for FIU's College of Law in May 2025.
