Darion Thompson

Darion Thompson is a proud member of the College Academy at Broward College community whose journey since graduation has been nothing short of impressive!

After graduating from College Academy, Darion went on to earn his degree from the University of Florida. Upon entering the professional world, he started his career at a dynamic startup, SOMA Global, where he played a key role in developing aviation software for local police agencies and processing Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) data. This experience was an invaluable opportunity for Darion to hone his skills in technology and data management.

Now, Darion is working as an Implementation Consultant at Fast Enterprises, LLC, where he collaborates with the South Carolina Department of Revenue to implement tailored software solutions. In this role, Darion helps streamline processes and enhance efficiency, making a tangible impact on the department’s operations. 

Darion attributes his success to the strong foundation and support he received during his time at the College Academy. He extends his gratitude to the teachers, mentors, and peers who shaped his early years and inspired him to strive for excellence.
