Kandace Marciniak

Kandace Marciniak is a dedicated and accomplished member of the College Academy at Broward College Class of 2019, who has embarked on an incredible journey in the field of medicine!

After graduating from the College Academy, Kandace attended the University of Florida, where she spent three and a half years earning a double major in Biology and Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. During her time at UF, Kandace was deeply involved in campus life, participating in Dance Marathon at UF Alumni and Panhellenic activities, all while balancing the rigorous demands of a pre-med track. She attributes her ability to manage college classes and a busy schedule to the preparedness skills she gained at CA. 

Upon graduating in the fall of 2022, Kandace dedicated her spring to preparing for medical school applications for the 2023-2024 cycle. After all her hard work, she took a well-deserved break to backpack through Europe for five weeks with her childhood best friend, creating unforgettable memories.

During her gap year, Kandace moved to Atlanta, where she worked as a scribe in ophthalmology, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the medical field and solidifying her passion for healthcare. Now, Kandace is medical student at University College Cork in Ireland!

Kandace expresses deep gratitude to all the wonderful professors and staff at College Academy who supported her journey and helped her achieve her dreams. We are incredibly proud of Kandace and excited to see her continue to shine in the world of medicine.
