Kevin Crawford attended Broward Junior College in 1972-1973, studying architecture and electrical engineering and swimming for the swim club team. He is grateful for his time at Broward College, for instilling a love of learning and spurring his interest in becoming an Electrical Contractor. After his time at BC, Kevin pursued a training and apprenticeship opportunity offered by IBEW. He received his Journeyman’s license and Master Electrician’s license. He later went on to teach for the IBEW focusing on the National Electrical Code.
Kevin is a native of New York but has lived throughout the east coast. He is the owner of EZ Generator Switch LLC and Crawford Building Electrical LLC. EZ Generator Switch is a manual transfer switch that provides a simple way to connect any generator to power essential circuits. Kevin patented and developed this product in 2011, leaning on his electrical background to make it easier for people dealing with storm outages. Learn more about EZ Generator Switch.
As a serial entrepreneur, Kevin shares the following advice for Broward College students and alumni “Becoming successful is something you want, obtaining it is the journey of life. Enjoy the journey and the process.”
