Margeaux Philpot

Margeaux Philpot is a dedicated mental health professional and proud member of the College Academy Class of 2017!

After graduating from College Academy, Margeaux attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where she dual majored in Psychology and Forensic Studies, graduating with the Class of Spring 2020. During her time at FGCU, Margeaux was highly involved in campus life, serving as a Resident Assistant, Front Desk Assistant, Tour Guide, and Undergraduate Admissions Representative. She also became a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the first Black sorority in the United States, and the same sorority of former Vice President Kamala Harris. 

Margeaux then jumped into an accelerated Master's program at FGCU, earning her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022. She is now working as a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern at Ellie Mental Health in Estero, FL, where she provides counseling to clients aged 13 and up. Her work spans a range of mental health concerns, including Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD. 

Margeaux recently celebrated a personal milestone as well, marrying her high school sweetheart in October 2023.
