Rhoda Glasco Foderingham graduated from BC with her A.S. She then earned her B.S. from FSU, her M.R.P. from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her J.D. from FSU where she was the first black female accepted into housing of the Southern Scholarship Foundation of FSU. Following law school she worked with the Florida Department of Community Affairs and the Florida Legislature before returning to South Florida. For her last position she worked as an Assistant City Attorney at the City of Coral Springs and retired in 2012. She is currently Chair of the Board of the Southern Scholarship Foundation, which is a foundation that offers free housing and cooperative living to students who lack financial resources, demonstrate excellent academic merit, and exemplify good character while attending institutions of higher education.
