Richard Alfonsetti, MBB, is a dedicated professional in healthcare logistics and a proud member of our alumni community.
After graduating from College Academy, Richard moved to Orlando to attend theUniversity of Central Florida, where he pursued a Business degree. During his second year at UCF, Richard accepted a full-time position withMCKESSON MEDICAL-SURGICAL SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES LLC, a Fortune 10 company at the forefront of healthcare. Starting as a Material Handler on the Sortation/Loading dock, Richard worked his way up through various roles, including Lead Material Handler, Trainer, and Warehouse Coordinator.
Richard graduated from UCF during the pandemic with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Business Management, Behavioral and Psychosocial Analysis, Human Resources, and a minor in Public Administration. As the pandemic unfolded, Richard and his team atMcKessonwere instrumental in ensuring that critical supplies reached communities across the country and around the world—an experience that solidified his decision to stay with the company.
Six months after graduating, Richard transitioned into a new role as a Senior Associate Business Process Consultant with McKesson’s Six Sigma Corporate Strategy and Operations Team. Over the past two years, Richard has earned certifications in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt, and Agile Leadership. He has since been promoted to Senior Business Process Consultant, an exciting role that has opened doors to further opportunities within the company.
Outside of work, Richard loves traveling the world, visiting amusement parks, building and racing cars and motorcycles, and spending time with his friends and family exploring Orlando.
