Sarah Shield is an accomplished student and future attorney whose passion for business, law, and college athletics has driven her success.
After graduating from College Academy in 2019, Sarah attendedThe University of Alabama, where she majored in Accounting and minored in Criminal Justice and Criminology. During her four years at Alabama, Sarah was actively involved in theCulverhouse Investment Management Groupwhich is a student-run fund managing $1.7 million of the university’s endowment. In her final year, she made history as the first woman to hold voting power as Vice President of Investment Research.
In addition to her work with the investment group, Sarah was involved with the Student Government Association, theBlackburn Institute at The University of Alabama, Students Tide Against Suicide, and Vote Everywhere, gaining invaluable leadership experience.
Sarah also had an exciting series of internship experiences, including working in the accounting and legal departments atChewy, a Fortune 500 company, and completing a semester-long internship in London with a chamber of commerce.
Her time at Alabama was filled with many memorable moments, but Sarah's favorite was traveling to six different states to cheer on the Crimson Tide as they competed in various sports. She even got to witness the football team win two SEC championships and a National Championship!
In Spring 2023, Sarah graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Business and Commerce. After taking the summer to recharge, she moved to New Orleans to attendTulane University Law School, where she is excited to pursue her passion for sports law at the nation's oldest sports law program.
