College Academy at Broward College Class of 2017 graduate Schuyler Gleaves is a talented software engineer whose journey has taken him across the country and back!
After graduating from College Academy, Schuyler attended the University of Florida on a full-ride scholarship, majoring in Computer Science. During his time at UF, he participated in a computer science research lab, publishing several papers along the way. Schuyler’s hard work and dedication paid off when he landed an internship with Microsoft as a Software Engineering Intern during his junior year.
Following his graduation, Schuyler moved to Seattle for a year to start full-time at Microsoft as a Software Engineer, where he enjoyed exploring the West Coast and building his career. After some time in Seattle, he moved back to Florida to work remotely and was promoted to Software Engineer II, contributing to the Microsoft Teams product.
Schuyler relocated to Arkansas in support of his partner, Ashley Galbreath, PharmD, during her pharmacy residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Schuyler has lauched his own software solutions company and continues to thrive professionally and personally.
