As a proud graduate of Broward College, Tamecka shared this about her path and the foundation that Broward College gave her when she met with students on February 27, 2025 on Central Campus:
"As a product of a teenage pregnancy to high school dropouts, there was little hope for economic, educational and professional advancement.
Broward Community College created a path of social mobility for first generation college students (like me) and I'm honored for the opportunity to share my journey with the next generation of Community College Students.
It's not about where you start, but where you finish that counts!"
