Wanley Pierre earned his A.A. from Broward College in 2020. He arrived at BC as a trained engineer with many years of professional experience in his native country of Haiti. He excelled academically at BC and was inducted into the honors college and the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

Currently a Hedge Fund Accountant while he pursues his MBA in Finance at Florida Atlantic University, Wanley has this to say about the impact of Broward College and his path.

“I attended Broward College from 2018 to 2020. I graduated with an Associate degree in accounting then I transferred to FAU for my Bachelor. I am grateful for the time I spent at BC. I was involved in different activities, I was part of Robert "Bob" Elmore Honors College, I was also a member of DECA Collegiate with Professor Erick Perez. Broward College set the path to my future. I am an immigrant and I enrolled at BC just two years after being in this country. I was lucky to have some great advisors that helped me to stay motivated. I currently work as a Hedge Fund Accountant, and I'm getting an MBA with a concentration in Finance at the end of this year (December 2023). I owe my success to BC, and for that I am very grateful.”
