The 15th Annual Pillars Conference, held from August 8th to August 11th 2024, was an outstanding success. The event focused on the theme "Maximizing the Art of Risk-taking” and featured a diverse lineup of speakers who shared valuable insights. Over 400 participants attended Pillars virtually and in-person, solidifying the conference's status as a cherished tradition that draws alumni and current students from around the world. Notable speakers included a former marine and pilot, a program director for the homeless, a university president, a former Haitian ambassador to the US, a financial planner and former NFL player, as well as other esteemed recipients of the Pillars of the Community Awards. Additionally, our student presentations showcased a wide array of topics, from Oral History to Brain Machine Interface and from Artificial Intelligence to human trafficking awareness, reflecting the depth and diversity of knowledge among participants. It's worth noting that students from Panama and Bolivia traveled to Florida to take part in this enriching experience.
